The Great Escape with Re-enactors from
General John Glover’s Marblehead Regiment
Join re-enactors for a historic depiction of many aspects of maritime history, camp life and community, and the role of Fulton Ferry Landing in one of the most surprising moments of the American Revolutionary War. In partnership with the Village Community Boathouse.
At Main Street/Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn.

A perennial favorite. Led by Old Stone House Board Member and Hunter College Archaeology Professor William J. Parry.
Meet at Grand Army Plaza, under the arch.

Battle of Brooklyn Commemoration at The Green-Wood Cemetery
5th Avenue at 25th Street, Brooklyn

Greenwood historian Jeff Richman and author Barnet Schecter conduct a trolley tour of the cemetery.
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Brooklyn Irish American Parade Committee march from the Main Gate to memorialize Washington’s Irish Generals, Charles Higgins, and John Gallagher, historian and author of The Battle of Brooklyn.
Living History Programming with drills, weapon firing, games, and  historic personalities. Colonial music by Sampawams Creek.
